Good effort

And I thought making things in Chalk took forever!!
Paper would just be horrendous!
Having to scan every sheet of paper you draw on.
Drawing every frame out without being able to atleast slightly see what was on your last frame other then just guessing it.

I respect this. Too bad it weren't longer.
My first Chalk movie felt like torture too. But the second went WAY better.
Hopefully you feel the same way, and can make a longer episode.

Good scene, but....

Dude. That's pretty weak. It's just a scene from Appleville.
You didn't change anything :(

You make me laugh

A very silly cartoon.
It reminds of me early Nameless cartoons. And look how huge they are now!!
That could be you!

As I promised, I made a list of all of the subtle randomness that I love in this movie. There are few real jokes in this, all of the rest of them are just things happening. Things that most people notice, but possibly not everyone.
They are all cronological and whatnot.
-Subtitles don't match fully
-Shrinks as he goes down stairs. A common mistake when animating, but you did it very cleverly, and intentionally
-Red dude randomly gets hair and a hat
-Red dude's arms disappear, then kind of fly away
-Pinapple's flashback noises *whooshwooshwoosh*
-Pinapple suddenly has the "job shirt"
-Red dude's face keeps changing
-Red does a crab walk onto scene, and pinapple snail crawls. I loved that part :D
-When red walks away, you make the corniest no leg walk animation ever, and it was funny
-Firemahn
-Pinapple flashes on and off screen randomly
-Pinapple's leaf things are suddenly way more detailed, just like your old pinapple logo
-The singing dudes silouhette mimicker thing is often doing the wrong thing, or falling behind the real dude. I think that was actually my favorite part.
He should return to the series, but with real lines, not just singing. Always with that shadow guy and such

Anyways. I made that list just because I said I would.
Very awesome cartoon.
It has great humor and timing. As others have said, the pacing was a little shaky. But I'm sure this series will turn into something much more.
Maybe get some voice actors on board too

FrozenSheep responds:

I was fairly influenced by nameless during the whole thing. Though I'd doubt I can reach nameless-esque stardom here or even come close. I'll aim low for now.

;D

Nice

One of the only Clock Day flashes I actually watched today.
:D

I love watching stuff from you two. You always collaberate so well together, and your contrasting styles synch up so perfectly.
It was a clever flash. I liked where to Speakonia chip was installed. Nice touch ;)

The only thing remotely close I say to a cock joke, was that the crane thing in Nick's part look kind of like a shaft with balls.
But I don't think I'd consider that one...

A good start

I quite enjoyed it, that is, for the short time it lasted :(
I always enjoy your unique style, and it actually is pretty cool to see your process to make it like that.

You had a good start for a really fun video here.
If you had made more steps, like makybe triple the amounts of steps you had shown there, then it would be much more in depth and interesting.

Maybe also make it once you have about a dozen pictures. Because then people can see your style on many different levels.
Suggestions for Drawing With FrozenSheep2 I suppose
;)

I was sceptical

As were most of your fans.
I was worried that we would completely lose the old feel of the Skater V2 series with the revamped animation.

But, I feel that Johnny Magic has retained his rebelious, comical feel. It came through in several different moments throughout the episode.

The emotions shown through both the face and body are so much clearer now. At any point we can easily see how a character is feeling, as apposed to the old school stick arms, and stale faces.

One thing, although Cory is an awesome voice actor, it doesn't suit the series that well. I mean voice acting in general. You did a good job of using it only in certain occasions. Which is good. So well done there too.

Overall, the highly anticipated all new sequel does not dissapoint. Great humor. Smooth, and excellent animation. And just plain fun.
Great work there Marcy my boy!

Good stuff

Too often do I see you just slap together 2 hour flashes. Not saying that you never spend time on them. When you do though, it's awesome. You have a lot of talent, and an entertaining style.
I think in this flash, it came out very nicely. It was very smooth, and had a few moments of humor, even though there is no dialouge, or even story. Such as the piano being replaced by the fish. Nice touch ;)

I enjoyed it. Very nice piece or work here. What FPS did you use? And how long did you work on it for?
Also, good luck on that award. Especially after being robbed on AoFS 7.

Great scoping!

You don't see enough work based solely on rotoscopes on Newgrounds.
This is an extremely well done piece.

the transitions were always smooth, and matched with a change in color just to make it that much more noticable.
The music also fit very well.
It's a shame that the piece wasn't longer. But I've tried rotoscoping before, and it does take a damn long time.

Glad to see you back on Newgrounds. Although I would like to see more from you, doing some more "Noodles on my Back" song/animation type pieces.

Outstanding

This never really did get the attention it deserved. This is an amazing tribute to Allen Awesome, and exremely well done.
Everything was so smooth, and there were some clever little jokes and such in there.
In all honesty I like this one a bit better than Marcy's too ;)
Although his got like a weekly award and stuff. I think your should have too. Great work all the way through.

And like I've said before. That is like the greatest hoodie I've ever seeen :D

Intriguing

It was gutsy of you to take this in such an artsy direction. When the competition asked to animate to the mood of the song, you could have easily picked a different song, and done some more humorous things with it.

But honestly, that's what you always do. Don't get me wrong. We love you for it. But I personally like that you wanted to do something a little more... out there.
There were some nice touches in there. Such as the transitions:
Pixel man = freehand background
Freehand man = pixel background

I like that you edited the song slightly too. That makes your submission already that much more unique than the others.
It didn't perform too well on Newgrounds. But best of luck to you in the TOFA!

What's a goat?
